Do not lay too long in the sun
Heat stroke occurs when the body temperature is 41° or higher. It can cause nausea, confusion, disorientation, seizures, fainting, convulsions and shallow breathing. The body struggles to cool down. Anyone exhibiting these symptoms should be treated as a medical emergency. Remove all unnecessary clothing, cool the body with a cool washcloth or lie down in a cool, air-conditioned room and seek medical attention. Give the individual plenty of cool drinks and monitor symptoms carefully.
