Osprey is a neighborhood south of Sarasota. Currently without a real town center, it has a lot to offer for residents and vacationers. Historic Spanish Point is a 12-acre park and museum that is well worth a visit. Oscar Scherer State Park offers a glimpse of breathtaking nature that can be explored on foot, by bicycle, canoe or kayak. The Oaks Golf Club is one of the most exclusive golf courses combined with a beautiful residential community. Blackburn Point Bridge, is the only remaining swing bridge in Florida and crosses the Intracoastal Waterway to Casey Key and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Blackburn Point Road takes you to the wonderful Casey Key Fishhouse and onto the fabulous island of Casey Key a narrow 13km long island. To enjoy the wonderful beach on Casey Key, follow Casey Key Road to Nokomis Beach on the south end of the island.
