Turtle Beach Claimed

Be the first to review

At the southern end of Siesta Key is Turtle Beach. The sand is a bit coarser, and the beach slopes more dramatically, ideal for snorkelers. Unfortunately, no lifeguards here either, but there is free parking with picnic tables, a playground, showers and restrooms. It may not be as popular as Siesta Beach, but if you can’t find parking in Siesta Beach, Turtle Beach certainly has it. Turtle Beach has all the amenities for the whole family looking for a full day of fun and relaxation. Play beach volleyballes while the kids play in the Seachside playground. In the center of the park is Blind Pass Lagoon, which connects to Little Sarasota Bay with boat ramps providing easy access. Unfortunately, there is no lifeguard supervision here either. The adjacent Turtle Beach Campground offers the opportunity to camp or tent.
