Caspersen Beach Claimed

Be the first to review

Caspersen Beach is located south of Venice, a pristine beach as far as the eye can see. Caspersen amenities include: Free parking, picnic areas with two pavilions, a covered playground, and restrooms.
Here you will find the legendary shark’s teeth. The water is not as clear as at other beaches and the sand between the stone rocks is relafively dark. Another attraction at the more southern and remote beach is during the months of May to July, when sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.
Please be aware of the barriers of wooden posts and yellow ribbons; these are not only to ward off the raccoons, but also careless and overzealous visitors. Caspersen Beach offers ample free parking … but you must arrive early!
